Old, illegible scrolls have been discarded to make room for new knowledge. Will you help us fill our shelves again with new stories and wisdom?

It's been a while. Things got busy toward the end of 2023, and keeping up with the blog became difficult. More musings on this struggle below.

2024 Changes
You may have already heard that we're making some changes around here. This is not unusual for a new year, nor is it for business to switch things up now and then. After a long time of deliberation, we've decided to put our Signature Collection to rest for 2024. This collection includes Trickster, Sorceress and Pan's Woodland.
These fragrances, alongside our discontinued candle 'The Morrigan', were the first fragrances we released in March 2020. They came from a long Summer of testing and designing, and we're still so proud of them. It's time to give them an upgrade, which may include new labels and vessels.
In place of the Signature Collection, we're introducing our new Vigil Candle jars. The first of the fragrances has already been announced on Instagram: Woodland Rites.
Each of these three candles features a pre-raphaelite painting on the label, as well as an evocative little description that is signature to Lost World Candles.
Oddities & Curiosities Expo
On the first weekend of December, 2023, we attended the Oddities & Curiosities expo as The Witch & The Woodsmen with Enchantment Grove and Carve the Pines. It was a majorly successful event that we had lots of fun at and made many new friends. We were able to have so many enlightening and exciting conversations with new and existing customers about our offerings and help them with magical and spiritual queries.
If you visited us at the expo, thank you! We aim to attend more events this year together, and are putting together a schedule of medieval fairs and expos that we hope to take part in.
On a final note, we are tossing up moving our membership to Patreon. It would make sharing content much easier with you, as we could more efficiently share pictures and videos of processes and upcoming products, as well as post polls and Q&A's. Being able to do all of that on Shopify requires a little more web coding than we really have time for, so we've stuck with blog posts since we started the memberships.
