SHIPPING

Please allow 3-7 business days for orders to be processed and shipped.

Domestic Orders: All orders ship with Australia Post Parcel Post.

Up to 3 full size candles is a flat rate of $15 Australia wide, and 4 or more is $18 Australia wide. There is some room in between for smaller items like maxi lights and melts before hitting the $18 threshold.

Parcel Post is estimated to arrive 3-5 business days after dispatch.

International Orders: We currently ship to the US, UK, Ireland, New Zealand, Canada, Germany, Sweden and France. Shipping is based on weight.

All parcels are tracked.

You will receive a confirmation email as proof of your order, followed by your tracking number when your order has been dispatched.

LOCAL DELIVERY

Free Delivery is now available for customers between Lapstone and Mt. Victoria, NSW.

Click the ‘Pick-up’ tab in the shipping options at checkout. Please note this is not an invitation to pick up your order

Orders will be delivered in 5-7 business days.

If you don't live in the specified area, your order will be cancelled.

By choosing this option you are giving Lost World Candles permission to personally attend the delivery address.

 

DAMAGED + LOST ITEMS

If you have received your order and it is damaged, please contact us within 5 days of receiving your order so we can help. You will need to provide photographs of the damaged items, as well as your order number and tracking number.

We accept no responsibility for dissatisfaction with fragrance, as this is subjective and unable to be proven to be a defect.

We do not consider a parcel to be missing until 5 weeks have passed. At which point, please contact us so we can try and locate the parcel.

“The website is sold out, will you be restocking?”

“The website has nothing on it/I don’t have the password”

“I missed the restock, do you have any ____ left?”

We restock/update the website approximately twice a month.

Our candle range changes seasonally, and all the dates and info can be found on Instagram. Restock dates are also posted on the website in our announcement bar or in the pop-up box when you first open the website.

Sign up to our mailing list to receive news straight to your inbox when we have a planned restock. You can find the sign up box on the home page.

The website will be password protected up to two hours before a restock. You do not need a password to access the shop, the website will go public at the scheduled time.

We advise you to check the dates on the website and on Instagram before contacting us.

We advise you to set an alarm if you would like to purchase something. We can sell out fairly quickly, and we do not hold or reserve products. If you arrive late and the website is sold out, there is nothing we can do but advise you to wait for the next restock or check out one of our stockists.

We ask that you please try and find restock information yourself before contacting us.

REUSING CANDLE JARS

If you are going to keep your jars, wash gently with hot water water. You can fill the jar with freshly boiled water to soften the wax, wait 10 minutes and come back to clean it out. Do not scrub, but gently scrape out residual wax with a teaspoon. Soak the container to remove the labels, if you wish to remove them.

Empty candle jars have many uses! If returning candle jars is not for you, here are some ideas:

  • Pen or makeup brush holders

  • Small plant pots - these are great for succulents!

  • Storage jar for hairpins, paper clips, pushpins, crystals, bath salts, tea and candy

  • Tealight holders

  • Small flower vases
